Brompton

The Brompton is a British folding bike that just does the business (more on that below!). We love 'em at Cycle Heaven and have been selling them almost as long as we have been in business. As a result, we are probably the largest Brompton retailer in the North and have achieved the coveted highest level in terms of Brompton accreditation: Brompton Premier Retail Store as well as a Level 3 Brompton Workshop and carry out regular and extensive Brompton servicing

We aim to always have large stocks of all the most popular versions in various colours.  We also hold a large stock of spares and accessories, including the luggage.

Listed here are the 'standard' models that we usually stock. But the great thing about Brompton is B-spoke - where you can choose a bike customised to your requirements. We will,of course, help you to choose what's best for you, either from stock, or B-spoke.

Brompton sets the standard for folding bikes. Its designer Andrew Ritchie did this by engineering a bike where the back wheel flipped under a curved frame, for parking and folding. This allowed for the inclusion of rear suspension and thus high-pressure tyres. The end result was a bike that not only folded smaller and faster than anything else on the market, but one that rode exceptionally well, free from the of the limitations that had hitherto dogged small wheeled bikes - folding or otherwise. Its low weight, short wheelbase, small wheels and light steering make it a fast accelerating and agile machine - perfect for urban riding. It's a British design classic, like the Mini or the Spitfire, where form has followed function towards a most aesthetically satisfying result.
