The Cyclist is a café in a cycle shop, a really good cycle shop, we hasten to add, but our aims and values are simply that, a café in a cycle shop… a really good café in a really good cycle shop…we hasten to add!
We have an all day breakfast menu, with bread supplied by Dough York on Bootham, you have to try our bacon butties in Dough York’s ciabattas washed down with a coffee of your choice supplied by Dancing Goat Coffee in Tockwith, only 13 miles from our door.We also have a core offer of grilled sandwiches, an ‘on toast’ menu and a sumptuous selection of cakes, with gluten free and nut free options. Complementing our core offer we have daily specials which when they are gone, they are gone! Keep an eye on our socials @TheCyclistYork for our latest specials.
We welcome all cyclists from all groups and all levels, with indoor cycle parking, great bacon butties, great cake and great coffee, why wouldn’t you make us a destination for your rides out.
And all non-cyclists... if you are out along the river on a dog walk, or with the family or a gang of new mums out getting head space please call in for tea, coffee, cakes, lunch, brunch and a sit down.
As well as our menu evolving so will our space, with plenty of events in the pipeline we will give you plenty of reason to get out and come visit us.
